DIY: Create your favourite rose!

What is your favourite color; Find or create it on your all-time-clasic favourite flower..a white rose! You may not have professional paints at home but here you will find 2 ways to always have fresh flowers of your color choice on the table!

Method Νο 1

You will need:

• Fresh white roses
• 20 drops food coloring
• 200 ml water
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vinegar

Instructions

Cut the stem at a 25 degrees angle. Add the vinegar,the salt and then the coloring drops in the water. Leave the rose overnight to absorb as much as possible! If you want to intensify the color, cut the stem again and repeat the process. You don’t have to use new coloring drops, the old ones will do just fine!

You can create the so called rainbow roses by cutting the stems in 2 or 3 parts and emerging each one in different paint pots!Check it out here

Method Νο 2

You will need:

• White roses
• Color spray of your choice

First things first, we place a newspaper on the floor (you don’t want to scrub the floor later on). Place the roses on the newspaper and spray each one carefully, preferably at a distance of about 20cm. Don’t forget, we always use a protective mask and gloves while spraying!
