7 tricks to make your flowers last longer
It is always nice to have flowers around our house! Their color and smell always lift our mood and boost our energy! Escpecially when they are gifted we want to preserve them as long as possible and we can do so by following one of the tips below:
Sparkling water Pour 1/4 cup sparkling water in the vase with the water and the flowers, it helps preserving the flowers and keeps the water clean!
Vodka To maintain the flowers all you have to do is kill the bacteria that nestle in the water. To do so add to the water in the vase just a few drops of vodka to slow down the ripening rate of the flowers and one spoon of sugar. Make sure you change the water of the vase every day, renewing the vodka mixture too.
Hair spray Hair spray is a great choice if you want to preserve and dry your flowers. Just spray your the petals and leaves and watch them!
Cider Vinegar Mix 2 spoons of vinegar with 2 spoons of sugar and pour in the water with your flowers. Change the water regularly every 2-3 days renewing the vinegar – sugar mixture.

Aspirin Brake an aspirin and mix the trips in the water with your flowers. Make sure you change the water every 2-3 days
renewing the aspirin inside too.
Coin Copper is a fungicide and helps flowers be fungi-free and have a longer vase-life. Just add a copper coin in the vase with a sugar cube.
Suggar- Vinegar Make a mix of 3 spoons of sugar and 2 spoons of white vinegar. The water in the vase must be at least 7-10cm. You will be surprised how longer your flowers will live!!
